The Studio

The Studio is our most luxurious accommodation and is most suitable for a single person or couple.

It consists of a full kitchen, lounge and dining area and upstairs sleeping room, with a separate but adjacent bathhouse.

The bathhouse (with deep claw foot bath) was made by Tim from capstone rubble with steel and glass doors.  It opens onto an outside copper garden shower, also created by Tim.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a large fridge, stove top and oven (no microwave), all crockery and cooking utensils.  It is made of stainless steel with funky recycled blackbutt and mini orb doors featuring Tim’s original copper handles.

The kitchen and dining room open via bi fold doors onto a series of gardens and ponds that provide habitat for native animals – bobtails, frogs, birds, fish and yabbies. The garden has an outside dining table that provides a very romantic setting for candlelight dinners.

The upstairs loft sleeping room offers one queen sized bed and opens onto a walkway leading to an upstairs breakfast platform nestled amongst the branches of an ancient Japanese pepper tree.

Soft furnishings, artwork and interior design are all by Georgina Cresswell, local textile artist and fashion designer (our good friend and a lovely person!)

The Studio – $165 per night or $990 per week.  Maximum of two people.  Surcharge of $30 applies for stays of one night.
