The Cottage comfortably sleeps four people in two main bedrooms and a smaller loft bedroom. This is the most child friendly option at the Painted Fish.

This quaint cottage, originally built in 1897 features original pressed tin walls and match pine ceilings.

The kitchen is small but functional with a gas stove and no microwave.  It includes a dining area with large dining table. A cool living room is the heart of the house.

Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and lead onto an outside courtyard or veranda.

The bathroom has recently been renovated to include a claw foot bath you could drown in!

Modifications include a 1.12 kilowatt solar power array on the roof, a water cooling feature to the south of the house for cooling in summer, and a glass solarium to the north for heating in winter.

The Cottage – from $165 per night and $990 per week for the first two people, $20 per head for extra guests.  Maximum of 6 people. Surcharge of $30 applies for stays of one night.
